Silver Surfers don't grow on trees, or in the ground (nor do they swim around in the ocean like jellyfish?)...but we wish they did. From DAY ONE we have gone to great lengths to create a vaporizer that is completely sustainable. We aren't there yet...but we take great pride in the fact that we have gotten the SSV to 90% sustainability. Whenever possible, we use materials that are completely recyclable or reusable. Did you know that the glass and aluminum can be recycled infinitely! From our aluminum to our borosilicate glass to our ceramics... we use the only the best materials whenever possible, with sustainability always at the top of our list of needs.
We don't stop there, this is why we developed the bag. To avoid packaging like a box and other materials that will go in the trash. Our hope is you use the Silver Surfer Vaporizer bag to protect and carry many other things you have cherish in your life. If it were up to us we would hand each surfer to you personally. Unfortunately the world is large and we have to ship the SSV’s. The protective carrying case that the SSV comes with is more than enough protection for shipping, but sadly in order to meet shipping standards for insurance purposes. We have to create 2 inches of protection around the products in order to be covered. So...we use recycled(and recyclable) peanuts, and only use bubble wrap when absolutely necessary. We do or course recommend that you recycle as much as your shipping materials as is possible!
